You learn what to say in different locales like at the band office, the store, in a medical or legal situation and in the bush. Pronunciation is explained in the beginning chapter and with a handy pronunciation key at the bottom of each page. An interesting place name section contains English and Ojibwe names for places in Canada and USA. There is a handy English-Ojibwe glossary at the back of the book. This book contains some traditional recipes and folklore.
